Read, Test, Write - My new approach to self improvement blogging

My first approach to this blog was to just write anything. Soon categories emerged: DevDiaries, Tales of Nowardo and this kind of post: ArtursAdvice. The first two are well defined, but coming up with topics for ArtursAdvice is a struggle every single time and I feel doubt. My doubt means that I need to reflect on what I did and that is what this post is about. ArtursAdvice should help you achieve your dreams and ambitions. Maybe the articles helped you, maybe they didn't. The problem is, that I am not absolutely convinced of my previous articles. I presented ideas and strategies to you, that I read somewhere or came up with myself. They sound good, but do they work? I don't know. And that is the problem. I can't do that anymore. It feels dishonest to present something I am not fully convinced about. I need to change my strategy. I need to write differently.
I noticed that my DevDiaries had surprisingly a lot of readers. I wondered about this since all I write about is, what I did in my personal projects during the last week. I think that is the point: I write about what I know, what I do and what I believe in. I write about what actually happened, my thoughts and my feelings, instead of presenting theories that may be true or not. That is how I want to write about self-improvement in the future. My new approach will consist of three steps: Read, Test and Write. I am always curious about new ideas, strategies and frameworks, but before I present them, I will try them out myself and then write about my experience and feelings. At the same time, I don't want to write it is a diary. I will still write articles about ideas and add my experience as time goes by. That means that there won't be a new article every Wednesday, but at least one addition to a previous article.
Since I don't "give advice" anymore but try them out, I need a new name for the category. Please write to me if you have an idea. So far I have ArtursAct, ArturActs or ArtursAction. Maybe you have something better.
Have a great day and rest of the week.
